Vincent Couderc

C’est par le dessin que Vincent Couderc débute sa démarche artistique. Il se dirige vers un lycée spécialisé dans les métiers d’arts à Aurillac et collabore notamment avec les membres du groupe de rock alternatif Bérurier Noir dans le but de réaliser un concert graphique live en 2007. Cette expérience lui ouvre les portes de la contre-culture et lui donnera un goût prononcé pour les aventures humaines.

Il se tourne vers la photographie avant d’intégrer l’ETPA à Toulouse. Dans cette école il approfondit sa connaissance des arts visuels, des techniques et y développe peu à peu un intérêt pour le travail du film argentique.

Observateur curieux, il partage dans ses photographies une partie de ses expériences et de ses interrogations.

Il sort diplômé en 2012, lauréat du Prix spécial du jury.

Travaille comme photographe indépendant.

Vincent Couderc started his artistic practice by drawing. He went to a high-school, specialised in art in Aurillac (France), where he collaborated with Bérurier Noir, an alternative rock group in order to make a live graphic concert in 2007. This memorable experience opens him up to the counterculture world and a pronounced taste for human adventures.

He turned to photography before integrating the ETPA (a photography school) in Toulouse (France). He strengthened his knowledge in visual arts, the different techniques, and gradually develops an interest in silver halide photography.

As a curious observer, he shares bits and pieces of his experiences and interrogations through his photographs.

He graduated in 2012, with a special mention from the jury.

Today, he works as a freelance photographer.
